Piritiba Map Poster & Print
Piritiba is a municipality in the interior of Bahia, in northeastern Brazil, well away from the coast. On a map the town appears as a fairly compact urban area. Its streets are laid out mostly in regular blocks and centre on a main square and church, a pattern common to many towns in the region.
Beyond the edge of town the map thins out quickly. Rural roads and tracks lead toward farms and smaller settlements across a landscape shaped by a semi-arid climate. That contrast between the dense centre and the open land around it gives a Piritiba map poster a clear, readable shape.
For people from Piritiba, and for the many families across Brazil with roots in towns like it, the map is a way to hold on to a place defined by its main streets, its square and the roads that leave it. In black and white the town's outline becomes a simple emblem.

Roads into the countryside
Several roads run outward from the urban area, linking the town to farms and neighbouring communities across the Bahian interior.
Open surrounding land
Wide areas with few lines surround the town and emphasise its compact form. On the poster they give the built area room to stand out.
