Holy Trinity Square
The main square is a wide, open shape in the middle of the old town, recognisable on the map as an irregular clearing among the tightly packed historic blocks around it.

Požega Map Poster & Print
Požega sits in central Slavonia, in a broad basin often called the Golden Valley, Vallis Aurea in Latin. Low mountains enclose it, among them Papuk and Psunj, and their wooded slopes frame the fertile valley floor. The town lies within this bowl along the Orljava river, and its map shows a compact core surrounded by fields and vineyards.
At the heart of Požega is Holy Trinity Square, a large, gently sloping space lined with baroque buildings and marked by a plague column. The town is also the seat of a Catholic diocese, with its cathedral dedicated to St. Teresa of Ávila. Together these give the old centre a distinct, carefully composed shape on the street plan.
A Požega map poster works well because the valley itself provides a frame. The dense historic core, the river passing nearby and the roads fanning out toward the surrounding hills form a balanced composition. In a restrained style the map reads like an architectural drawing of a small cathedral town set in a landscape of vineyards and forest.

Orljava river
The Orljava flows through the valley past the town, drawing a soft, curving line across the poster that contrasts with the straighter streets of the centre.
Valley and hills
Roads leave Požega across the valley floor toward the surrounding mountains, and the edges of the map begin to reflect the rising, wooded ground that encloses the basin.
