Organic street pattern
The streets follow the land without an overall plan. The result is an irregular, branching network that looks hand-drawn on the poster.

Prestea Map Poster & Print
Prestea lies in the Western Region of Ghana, in forested country with a long history of gold mining. On a map the town is an irregular cluster of streets and compounds on rolling ground. It is shaped by the terrain and by the mining activity around it, not by a formal plan.
Mining has been central to Prestea's identity for generations, and the town gives its name to the surrounding Prestea-Huni Valley area. From above, the road network is organic: it follows ridges and low ground, joins the neighbouring villages, and runs into the green land that surrounds the settlement on every side.
A Prestea map poster shows a working town in a forest landscape. It has no grid and no waterfront, only a network of roads that has grown out of local needs. The irregular pattern makes a textured composition, and it means a lot to anyone whose family history is connected to the mines.

Mining landscape
Mine sites and worked ground lie near the town. They show on the map as larger, open or differently textured areas next to the housing.
Forest surroundings
Green land surrounds the settlement, with roads leading off to nearby villages. This frames the town as a distinct shape in a wide natural setting.

For families connected to Prestea's mines, the town is part of their own story. A map of its streets makes a meaningful gift for relatives in Takoradi, Accra or abroad, and it keeps a working town on the wall instead of in memory alone.
