Market square
The old town is laid out around a central square. Its short, tight streets make the densest part of the map.

Prudnik Map Poster & Print
Prudnik lies in the Opole Voivodeship in southern Poland, close to the Czech border. On a map the town sits in a valley along the Prudnik river. The foothills of the Opawskie Mountains rise to the south and southwest.
The old town has a compact market square and a medieval castle tower. On the forested edge of town is a Franciscan monastery where Cardinal Stefan Wyszyński was interned in 1954–1955, now a place of remembrance.
A Prudnik map poster shows the town's dense historic centre, the river's course through the valley and the transition to wooded hills. In black and white, the forests become broad open spaces, and the streets of the centre give the composition its focus.

River valley
The Prudnik river runs through the town and the valley floor. It adds a continuous, gently winding line to the poster.
Forested foothills
Wooded hills rise south of town toward the border. The map there becomes open and calm, crossed by a few narrow roads.
