Puerto Tejada Map Poster & Print
Puerto Tejada lies in the north of Cauca Department in Colombia, on the flat floor of the Cauca river valley a short distance south of Cali. The town has a strong Afro-Colombian heritage and history, and the land around it is dominated by sugarcane, the principal crop of this part of the valley.
On a map, Puerto Tejada is a tidy grid of blocks, a common Spanish colonial pattern, set in the middle of extensive cultivated land. Roads lead north toward Cali and to other valley towns, and rivers and irrigation channels cross the plain. Beyond the town, large rectangular cane fields create an ordered landscape.
A Puerto Tejada map poster contrasts the fine grid of the town with the broader geometry of the surrounding fields. It is a clear, structured composition that shows how the town sits within its agricultural valley.
