The river
Río Segundo flows between the town and neighbouring Pilar. Its curving course is the only irregular line in a landscape that is otherwise flat and geometric.

Río Segundo Map Poster & Print
Río Segundo is a town in Córdoba province, Argentina, east of the city of Córdoba, on the river of the same name. The river, also known as the Xanaes, crosses the flat Pampas landscape, and the town grew on its bank. Across the water lies Pilar, and together the two form one continuous urban area divided by the river.
The map shows the classic Argentine grid: square blocks, straight streets and a central plaza. The railway and the main highway toward Rosario run past the town, adding long, straight lines to the composition. Around the edges, the grid gives way to the huge rectangular fields of the Pampas.
A Río Segundo map poster captures a simple, clear geometry: a river curving through a flat landscape, square blocks on either bank and roads and rails pointing toward distant cities. It is the kind of image that works well in black and white, where every line is visible.
