Salinas Map Poster & Print
Salinas lies in the north of Minas Gerais, a region of semi-arid country, rocky hills and dry scrub that marks the transition toward the Brazilian sertão. The town has a fairly compact layout, with a grid of streets around its central square and newer neighbourhoods spreading outward. Beyond them, the map opens into sparse countryside crossed by a few long roads and seasonal watercourses.
The town is famous throughout Brazil for its cachaça. It is often called the national capital of artisanal cachaça, and small distilleries in the surrounding countryside produce well-known brands. The spirit has become part of Salinas' identity, with a festival and a museum dedicated to it.
A Salinas map poster shows a well-defined town set against a vast, quiet landscape. In black and white, the grid of the centre and the rural roads leading out form a simple, strong composition. It suits people from northern Minas, cachaça lovers who have visited the region's distilleries, and anyone who wants a personal map of home.

Roads into the sertão
A few main roads leave town and cross the dry countryside toward distant towns and farms. On the poster they are long, clean lines.
Open dry country
Beyond the built area, the landscape is sparse, with scattered farms and seasonal creeks. It gives the print generous negative space and a calm balance.
