Basilica grounds
The church built under Begum Samru stands in its own open grounds, a more spacious shape that breaks up the dense pattern of lanes around it.

Sardhana Map Poster & Print
Sardhana is in Meerut district, on the level alluvial land between the Ganges and the Yamuna. From above, the town is a tight cluster of narrow lanes that thins out quickly into a patchwork of fields. The roads that leave it run nearly straight across the plain, and irrigation channels cut through the farmland around it in long, regular lines.
The town is best known for Begum Samru, who ruled the surrounding estate in the late eighteenth and early nineteenth centuries. Her Basilica of Our Lady of Graces, built in a European style, is still the landmark that draws visitors today. On the map it shows up as a larger, more open compound among the finer grain of the residential streets.
A Sardhana map poster captures a town where the plan has grown over centuries instead of being drawn in one go. Lanes branch, narrow and meet at odd angles, while the countryside around them stays flat and orderly. In monochrome the contrast is clear: a dark, knotted centre inside a pale field of straight tracks and cultivated plots.

Organic old lanes
The core of Sardhana is a mesh of narrow, irregular streets that grew without a fixed plan, which gives the centre of the map a fine, detailed texture.
Doab farmland
Fields and irrigation channels spread flat in every direction, so the town sits clearly defined inside a wide margin of quiet agricultural lines.
