The old core
At the centre of town, closely packed lanes form an irregular, dense web. It is the darkest and most detailed part of the print.

Shikārpūr Map Poster & Print
Shikārpūr is a town in Bulandshahr district in western Uttar Pradesh, on the fertile plain between the Ganges and the Yamuna. The land is almost completely flat, so the map is shaped by settlement patterns rather than terrain. Narrow, winding lanes pack the older centre, while wider roads leave the town in several directions toward nearby villages and markets.
Farther from the centre, the streets spread out, and field boundaries and rural tracks take over. That gradual shift from dense to sparse is typical of towns on the plain, and it gives a Shikārpūr map poster a clear structure: dark and detailed in the middle, lighter toward the edges.
In black and white, the knot of lanes at the centre looks almost like a woven texture, and the straighter roads around it provide contrast. Because the print focuses on form rather than labels, it quietly captures how a North Indian market town is organised.

Roads to the villages
Straighter roads run outward across the plain to nearby settlements. They divide the surrounding white space into clear sections.
The level plain
With no hills or coastline, the map is shaped entirely by how people have built and farmed the land, which makes the settlement pattern itself the subject.

This is a print for people from Bulandshahr district, whether they still live nearby or have moved far away, who want an understated reminder of home. The monochrome design suits both traditional and modern interiors.
You can add a family name, a wedding date or custom text in the title, subtitle and coordinates line. Choose from five styles: Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint and Sand. Paper gives the dense centre a softer feel.
