Edge of the hills
Forested hills rise to the south of the town. They leave the upper part of the poster open, with only a few winding roads climbing into them.

Shioiri Map Poster & Print
Shioiri is in the southern part of Kagawa prefecture on Shikoku. Here the flat, farmed Sanuki plain gives way to the forested hills along the border with Tokushima. On a map, that transition shapes the town. Houses and lanes gather on lower ground, and to the south the terrain rises and roads thin out.
The railway line through Shioiri adds a clear, continuous line to the map. The streets are small-scale and irregular, typical of a rural Japanese town, with houses set among rice fields and gardens instead of along a formal grid. Kagawa has little rainfall, and irrigation ponds are common across the prefecture's landscape.
A Shioiri map poster shows a quieter side of Japan, a rural town between plain and mountains. The composition is fine and restrained, with narrow lanes, a single rail line and wide spaces for fields and forest. It suits people with ties to Shikoku or anyone drawn to Japanese countryside.

Railway line
A rail line passes through Shioiri and draws a steady, continuous stroke across the map. It connects the small town to the rest of Kagawa and Tokushima.
Fields and lanes
Narrow lanes run between houses and cultivated plots. From above they form a delicate, irregular texture that is typical of rural Shikoku.

དོན་དག་ཡོད་པའི་ས་ཁྲ།
Shioiri suits people who grew up in rural Kagawa, visited family there or travelled through by train. The map preserves a small, specific landscape that is rarely featured anywhere else.
You can personalise the title, subtitle and coordinates, including in Japanese romanisation, and choose from five styles: Classic black and white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. Paper suits the calm setting.
