Sillanwali Map Poster & Print
Sillanwali lies in Sargodha district, in the heart of Pakistan's Punjab, where the land is flat and almost entirely cultivated. The town is a local market centre, and from above its densely packed core stands out against a wide surround of rectangular fields laid out along irrigation channels and farm tracks.
The Sargodha area was transformed by the canal colonies of the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries, when irrigation brought the plains into large-scale farming. That legacy shows on the map as a geometry of long straight channels and field boundaries, into which towns like Sillanwali were set as service and trading points.
A Sillanwali map poster contrasts the fine, irregular lanes of the old centre with the ordered pattern of fields around it. The effect in black and white is striking: a dark, knotted core within a pale grid, a simple picture of how town and farmland depend on each other in this part of Punjab.

Irrigation lines
Canals and watercourses run in long straight lines across the surrounding plain, giving the poster a strong geometric framework beyond the town's edge.
Field pattern
Rectangular fields fill the space between roads and channels, a pale, regular texture that makes the built-up area stand out clearly.
