Singa Map Poster & Print
Singa, the capital of Sennar State in central Sudan, lies on the western bank of the Blue Nile. The river is the defining feature of the map, flowing in a broad channel along the edge of the town. Beyond it, flat plains stretch out in every direction, largely given to agriculture.
The town's street pattern is mostly regular, with straight avenues and rectangular blocks on the level ground. The centre sits close to the river, where markets and administrative buildings are concentrated, while residential districts spread further inland in wider, more open grids.
Singa has long been a regional centre for the farming communities of the Blue Nile valley. A Singa map poster keeps the essential structure of the town: the river, the grid and the open plain, drawn in clean black lines.

Regular blocks
On the level plain, streets form straight lines and rectangular blocks, producing an orderly pattern that looks crisp and balanced on the poster.
Open plain
Around the built-up area, the land opens into wide farmland with few roads, leaving generous space that emphasises the town and the river.

For people from Singa, and for many Sudanese families now living elsewhere, a map of the town is a way to keep home close. The river and the familiar streets carry memories that a simple print can hold quietly on a wall.
