Market-road core
The densest part of town sits along the main road, where shops and houses crowd together before the street pattern loosens outward.

Sīrē Map Poster & Print
Sīrē is a town in the Oromia region of Ethiopia, in the highlands southeast of Addis Ababa. On the map it appears as a modest cluster of streets around a main road, with the settlement thinning quickly into cultivated land. Fields, footpaths and scattered homesteads fill the space between the town and the nearby villages.
This is a place better described by its shape than by landmarks. The street pattern is loose and practical, built up along the routes that bring people and goods to market. Minor roads leave the centre at uneven angles and fade into tracks, so the map shows clearly how a small town serves the countryside around it.
A Sīrē map poster suits a town rarely drawn at this level of detail. Printed in black and white, the few main lines and the fine web of lanes become an abstract composition, with the open highland farmland left as calm white space around the edges.

Radiating tracks
Lanes and footpaths leave the centre in several directions towards surrounding villages, forming a spidery pattern across the outer poster.
Farmland margins
Open agricultural land surrounds the town on all sides, giving the composition a wide, uncluttered frame of white space.
