Dense older core
The centre of town is a tight cluster of narrow lanes and closely spaced buildings. At poster scale it reads as a darker, finely detailed mass.

Sodhri Map Poster & Print
Sodhri is in the Punjab plain of Pakistan, in the fertile country between Gujranwala and Sialkot. The land is almost perfectly flat, and this shows clearly from above. Lanes spread out from an older, denser core, and the settlement fades gradually into a patchwork of cultivated fields.
This part of Punjab depends on canal irrigation, and water channels often shape the local geography as much as the roads. Little is written about Sodhri in English sources, so the map is the best way to see it: an ordinary, closely built town in one of the most intensively farmed landscapes in South Asia.
In black and white, the narrow lanes of the centre become a fine texture, while the roads leading out are clearer strokes. A Sodhri map poster is understated and personal, the kind of print that means most to someone who knows the lanes it records.

Flat farmland
Around the built-up area, fields stretch to the horizon in regular parcels. Their edges create a subtle geometric pattern on the sheet.
Connecting roads
Local roads run out across the plain toward neighbouring towns and the wider region, drawing a few long, straight lines through the fields.

For families from Sodhri living in Lahore, the Gulf or Britain, a map of the town is a direct link to home. It works better on a wall than a faded photograph.
Add your family name or a meaningful date to the title and subtitle, and edit the coordinates line. The print comes in Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint and Sand.
