Highway spine
The main road between Solo and East Java passes through the town, and much of the development is stretched along it in a clear linear pattern.

Sragen Map Poster & Print
Sragen is the administrative centre of a regency in Central Java, lying east of Surakarta along the main road towards East Java. The town has a fairly compact centre, with a central square and government buildings, and its streets extend along the highway and outward into the surrounding villages, which merge gradually with the rice fields.
A Sragen map poster reflects this rural setting. The town sits within a landscape of paddy fields, irrigation channels and village clusters, and the Bengawan Solo, Java's longest river, runs through the regency, its wide curves visible in the wider frame of the map.
The regency is also known for Sangiran, a UNESCO World Heritage site where important fossils of early humans have been found. It lies to the west of the town, in low hills that rise above the river plain, and has made the name Sragen familiar to researchers far beyond Indonesia.

དོན་དག་ཡོད་པའི་ས་ཁྲ།
Sragen is a fitting poster for people from the town, for Indonesians abroad who remember the road east from Solo, and for anyone interested in the region connected with Sangiran and the long history of human life in Java.
The title, subtitle and coordinates can be adjusted to mark a family village or a special date. Five styles are available; Sand and Paper suit the soft landscape of fields, and Noir turns the road network into bright lines.
