Steffisburg Map Poster & Print
Steffisburg sits directly north of Thun in the canton of Bern and has grown so closely with it that on a map the two almost merge. The settlement stretches along the Zulg, a small river that flows down from the hills to join the Aare. Streets fan out from the older village centre, and houses climb the gentle slopes on either side before giving way to fields and forest.
It is often described as one of the largest villages in Switzerland, a municipality with the population of a town that has kept the status and character of a village. The Aare and Lake Thun are only a short distance south, and the Bernese Oberland rises beyond them.
A Steffisburg map poster shows a place in transition between town and countryside. The denser blocks near Thun, the looser network of roads further up the valley and the thread of the Zulg running through it all create a composition with a clear direction, from the lowland toward the Alps.

Edge with Thun
To the south the streets connect seamlessly with Thun, and the map shows how the two communities meet without any gap between them.
Hillside farmland
Beyond the built-up area, scattered roads and farm lanes climb the slopes, loosening the pattern and leaving open space at the edges of the frame.

For residents and for anyone who knows the Thun area, the map shows a familiar place in a new way, with the valley and village laid out clearly. It fits well in homes where a Swiss connection matters.
Personalise the title, subtitle and coordinates line, and choose one of five styles: Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. Blueprint and Sand work especially well with the river line.
