River confluence
The Enns and Steyr rivers meet beside the old town, forming a clear Y-shaped waterline that is the most recognisable feature of the map.

Steyr Map Poster & Print
Steyr grew at the confluence of two rivers, the Enns and the Steyr, and the meeting point defines the town from above. The old centre occupies the narrow wedge of land between the two, with the long Stadtplatz running parallel to the Enns and the Schloss Lamberg standing near the point where the waters join.
Bridges link the old town to suburbs on the opposite banks, and the steep river terraces create layered patterns of streets at different levels. Steyr also has a long industrial history, from medieval ironworking to the arms and vehicle works associated with Josef Werndl, which left larger industrial areas along the riverbanks.
A Steyr map poster shows a town where water shaped everything. The two rivers form a strong Y across the frame, the old centre fills the space between them, and bridges and terraces add detail. Just outside the town, the pilgrimage church at Christkindl gives the area a well-known seasonal association.

Stadtplatz
The elongated main square runs along the Enns, a long open space lined with historic buildings at the heart of the old town.
Bridges and terraces
Several bridges cross the rivers, and streets climb the terraces on either side, giving the map a layered structure around the water.
