Striped paddy land
Long, narrow field plots run inland in parallel bands. Seen from above they form one of the most regular agricultural patterns in peninsular Malaysia, with dozens of fine lines that print crisply.

Sungai Besar Map Poster & Print
Sungai Besar lies in the Sabak Bernam district of northwest Selangor, on the flat coastal plain that faces the Strait of Malacca. The town takes its name from the river that runs through it, and from above the waterway is the first thing the eye follows. Shophouse streets cluster near the water, while the land beyond is laid out in remarkably regular strips.
This part of Selangor is one of Malaysia's main rice-growing areas. Its paddy fields are divided by straight irrigation and drainage channels that run at right angles to the coast. On a map this creates a striped, almost textile pattern. The lines are measured and repetitive, and they are interrupted only by roads, village clusters and the river winding toward the sea.
A Sungai Besar map poster captures that unusual contrast between a small, organic town centre and the ruler-straight farmland around it. The coastline adds a soft edge on one side. It is a map that looks designed even though it grew from decades of agricultural planning, and it rewards a close look at its repeating geometry.

The namesake river
The Sungai Besar river curves through the town toward the strait. It is the one strongly organic line in a landscape otherwise shaped by straight channels and roads.
Coastal edge
To the west, the mangrove-fringed shoreline of the Strait of Malacca closes the map with a soft, uneven border that frames the gridded farmland.

People with family roots in Sabak Bernam often remember the view across the paddies more than any single building. This poster turns that memory into a drawing of canals, fields and the river, and it reads as calm, structured and distinctly local.
Add your own title, a subtitle such as a kampung name, and a date in the coordinates line. The five styles are Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint and Sand, and Blueprint suits the canal grid especially well. Files come as 300 DPI PNG and print-ready PDF in six sizes.
