Sunlou Map Poster & Print
Sunlou is a small town in the far north of Jiangsu province, in the broad, low-lying plain that extends across this part of eastern China. There are no significant hills here. The landscape is shaped almost entirely by people, with a geometry of farm plots, roads and water channels that divides the land into regular pieces.
The settlement forms a compact cluster at the meeting of local roads. Its streets are denser at the core and quickly give way to fields and the villages that dot the plain. As in much of northern Jiangsu, small canals and drainage ditches run through the farmland, often in straight lines that follow the field edges.
A Sunlou map poster is quiet and geometric. The town appears as a knot of streets, surrounded by a pattern of straight rural roads and water channels. It is a map of an agricultural landscape, and it suits people with roots in the area who want to keep a clear picture of home.

Town cluster
Streets gather into a compact core where local roads meet, the densest point on an otherwise open map.
Field channels
Narrow drainage and irrigation channels follow the field edges across the plain and add thin, regular lines to the poster.

For families from this part of Jiangsu, the plain and the town at its centre are part of daily memory. A map poster keeps a quiet image of home, which is especially valuable for those living far away.
Customise the title, subtitle and coordinates line, and choose Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. A family name in the subtitle makes the print personal.
