Tabira Map Poster & Print
Tabira lies in the sertão of Pernambuco, in the Pajeú region of northeastern Brazil. This is semi-arid country, with thorny caatinga vegetation, rocky hills and rivers that flow strongly in the wet season and shrink in the dry months. The region is known across Brazil for its tradition of popular poetry and improvised verse.
On the map, the town forms a compact and fairly regular grid, with a church square near the centre and streets extending outward to newer neighbourhoods. Roads leave for neighbouring towns of the Pajeú valley, while the surrounding land shows scattered farms, small reservoirs and the winding lines of seasonal streams.
A Tabira map poster presents this sertão town as a clean, graphic composition: a dense patch of blocks surrounded by the open, lightly drawn landscape of the backlands. It suits those who want a map with a real sense of place rather than a famous skyline.

Seasonal watercourses
Thin, winding lines of streams and small reservoirs cross the surrounding land, a reminder of how water shapes life in the semi-arid sertão.
Pajeú valley roads
Roads link Tabira to other towns of the Pajeú region, crossing open caatinga and giving the map its main outward directions.
