Tamboril Map Poster & Print
Tamboril is a municipality in the interior of Ceará, in Brazil's northeast, well away from the Atlantic coast. The landscape here is the sertão, a semi-arid region of low scrub, seasonal rivers and wide horizons. On a map the town appears as a compact cluster of streets, with rural roads and tracks leading out across a largely open territory.
Life in this part of Ceará has long been shaped by the rhythm of the rainy and dry seasons, and many small reservoirs, known locally as açudes, dot the surrounding land. Watercourses that carry water only part of the year appear as faint lines, while the town itself gathers around a church square in the manner common to northeastern Brazilian towns.
A Tamboril map poster is a quiet image: a dense centre set against a great deal of empty space. The balance between the settled core and the open land around it is what gives the composition its character, and it translates naturally into a minimalist print.

Seasonal watercourses
Riverbeds that flow only in the rainy months thread through the municipality, drawn as fine lines that hint at the region's dependence on scarce water.
Roads into the sertão
Rural roads leave the town in several directions, reaching scattered farms and villages across the dry interior, giving the map a gentle outward reach.

དོན་དག་ཡོད་པའི་ས་ཁྲ།
Many people from the Ceará interior live far from home, in Fortaleza, São Paulo or abroad, and a map of the home town is a way of keeping it close. The spare layout also suits calm, uncluttered rooms.
Personalise the title, subtitle and coordinates line with a name or a date that matters, and choose from five styles. Sand echoes the colours of the sertão, while Classic black and white keeps the street pattern sharp.
