Old town lanes
At the centre, narrow, irregular lanes bunch together into a dense pattern, typical of long-settled Gujarati towns and very different from the straighter roads around them.

Thāsra Map Poster & Print
Thāsra is a town in the Kheda district of central Gujarat, on the fertile, low-lying plain between Ahmedabad and Vadodara. From above it is a tight cluster of lanes and buildings, with roads heading out to nearby villages and a flat patchwork of fields reaching to the horizon on every side.
This part of Gujarat is farming country, watered by rivers and irrigation, and the Mahi river passes not far from the town. The ancient Galteshwar temple, at the meeting of the Mahi and Galti rivers, lies within the wider Thāsra area and is one of its best-known places.
A Thāsra map poster shows a town whose shape has grown step by step, not planned in one go. Narrow streets bend around each other in the older centre, main roads are straighter, and on the edges field boundaries and village tracks take over. It's a modest map, but a very specific one.

Roads to the villages
Several routes leave Thāsra and link it to the surrounding villages and larger towns of Kheda district, giving the map a clear radiating structure.
Agricultural plain
The land around the town is flat and heavily farmed. On the poster it becomes a light field of fine lines that sets off the darker urban core.

For people from Thāsra, especially those now living elsewhere in India or abroad, a map of the home town is a simple way to keep it close. The poster keeps the streets they know and drops everything else.
You can personalise the title, subtitle and coordinates line, for example in memory of a family home, and choose one of five styles: Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. HD digital files cost $9 and come without a watermark.
