The railway line
A long, straight stretch of track passes the town and runs through the whole composition. It is the strongest single line on the map and shows how the town connects to the wider region.

Timurni Map Poster & Print
Timurni is a small town in Harda district in Madhya Pradesh, in the broad agricultural lowland south of the Narmada River. From above it looks modest and concentrated. There is a dense knot of lanes and low buildings, a handful of roads leading out towards neighbouring villages, and wide cultivated fields pressing in from every side. The edge of the town is easy to see, and the countryside begins almost as soon as the streets stop.
The railway is the clearest line on the map. The town sits on the main line across this part of central India, and the track runs past the settlement in a long, confident stroke that nothing else here matches. The street pattern around it grew over time instead of being planned. Its lanes bend and branch, and small plots and courtyards fill in the spaces between them, giving the core a fine, irregular grain.
A Timurni map poster keeps that contrast between the close-knit centre and the open land around it. In black and white, the town's lanes form a dark cluster against pale fields, the railway cuts cleanly through the frame, and the rural roads fade outward towards the horizon. The result is quiet and graphic, and it gives a place that rarely appears in atlases a real presence on the wall.

The compact core
Narrow, winding lanes and closely packed plots make up a dense centre. The streets follow no grid, and their irregular pattern gives the poster most of its fine detail and texture.
Fields on every side
Harda district is mostly farmland, and the open ground around Timurni shows up as calm empty space. Thin rural roads cross it on their way to nearby villages.

དོན་དག་ཡོད་པའི་ས་ཁྲ།
People who grew up in Timurni, or who have family roots in Harda district, often want something that shows home as it actually is: a small, well-defined town with a railway at its side and fields all around. A map poster does this simply, without needing a famous skyline.
You can personalise the title, subtitle and coordinates line with a family name, a year or a significant date. Choose Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand, download HD files for $9 in six print sizes, or order a matte print with an optional wooden frame.
