Tombel Map Poster & Print
Tombel is a town in Cameroon's South-West Region, in the Kupe-Muanenguba area, where hills rise sharply from the coastal lowlands. From above, the town is a cluster of streets around a central road junction. Lanes run out into the surrounding farmland, and the ground rises to the west toward the forested slopes of Mount Kupe.
The area has fertile volcanic soils, and cocoa and coffee have long shaped the local economy and landscape. On a map, this appears as a loose pattern of tracks and small settlements spreading into the green around the town. The built-up centre is tight and irregular, with no imposed grid, which gives the lines a hand-drawn quality.
A Tombel map poster is a fairly spare composition. There is a denser knot of streets in the middle, and roads reach out toward neighbouring villages and the uplands. The simplicity is part of its appeal. The layout is honest and unornamented, and it will mean the most to people who know the road into town and the hills that frame it.

Central junction
The town's streets gather around a main crossroads, where regional roads meet. This gives the map a clear focal point, with lines radiating outward.
Plantation tracks
Beyond the centre, thin tracks lead into cocoa and coffee land. They show as fine, wandering lines that fade into open space at the poster's edges.
