Trikonavattam Map Poster & Print
Trikonavattam lies close to Kollam in the south of Kerala, in the green, densely settled lowland between the Arabian Sea and the Western Ghats. Like much of coastal Kerala, it has no sharply defined centre. On the map, houses and lanes spread continuously across the landscape along small roads that curve around plots, ponds and patches of greenery.
Water shapes the wider area. Kollam sits on Ashtamudi Lake, a large backwater with many arms, and canals and streams run through the lowland. Settlements here merge into one another, so a map of Trikonavattam reads less like an isolated town and more like part of a continuous, lived-in landscape.
A Trikonavattam map poster captures that dense but soft pattern. The winding lanes create an intricate texture across the whole frame, and the Classic black and white style suits the fine detail of the road network. Up close the print looks almost like lace, and from a distance it reads as an even tone.

Continuous settlement
Built-up areas run into neighbouring localities without clear breaks, a pattern typical of Kerala's coastal belt.
Backwater setting
A wider view towards Kollam brings in waterways and the arms of Ashtamudi Lake, adding broad shapes to the finely detailed street pattern.

Many Keralites work in the Gulf, in other Indian cities or further abroad, and a map of their home locality near Kollam keeps its lanes in view. It is a specific, personal print, not a general image of Kerala.
Write the title and subtitle, perhaps with a house name or a family occasion, and select Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. The digital files cost $9, and a watermarked 900 px preview is free.
