Trossingen Map Poster & Print
Trossingen sits on the high, open Baar plateau in Baden-Württemberg, with the Black Forest to the west and the Swabian Jura to the east. The town is known worldwide as the home of Hohner, the harmonica and accordion maker, and it has its own university of music. Its name is also linked to the Plateosaurus fossils excavated nearby.
On a map, the town appears as a dense, rounded core with residential streets spreading outward in a looser pattern. Former factory sites sit close to the centre, and a short railway branch reaches into town. Beyond the built-up edge, fields and woodland extend across the plateau in large, calm blocks.
A Trossingen map poster makes a fitting piece for musicians and for people who grew up with the name on their harmonica. The plan is modest in scale, but it clearly shows how a small plateau town grew around its industry and its institutions.
