Mine and smelter
The industrial area around the old mine shows as a distinct zone of larger shapes and service roads, a reminder of the ore body the town was built on.

Tsumeb Map Poster & Print
Tsumeb lies in the Oshikoto Region of northern Namibia, a town founded around one of the richest copper, lead and zinc deposits in Africa. From above, its streets form a relaxed, well-spaced layout, with residential blocks, parks and wide roads spread across the flat bush country, and the mine and smelter area set to one side of the town.
The Tsumeb deposit is renowned among collectors for the extraordinary number of minerals found there, including many that are known from nowhere else. Mining shaped the town from the early twentieth century onward, while its gardens and street trees earned it a reputation as one of Namibia's greener towns. It is also a common stop on the road to Etosha National Park.
A Tsumeb map poster translates that history into clean linework: the gently organised residential streets, the larger industrial footprint of the mine area, and the roads heading off into the savanna. Without colour, the contrast between town, mine and bush becomes the subject of the image.

Spacious town layout
Residential streets are generously spaced, with open plots and green areas between them, giving the town a lighter, airier pattern than many mining settlements.
Roads north to Etosha
Main routes leave town across flat bush country, including the road towards Etosha National Park, drawing long lines out to the edges of the poster.

Tsumeb means different things to different people: a hometown, a mining career, a mineral collector's pilgrimage or a memorable night on the way to Etosha. A map of its streets keeps that connection in a quiet, graphic form.
