Tucumã Map Poster & Print
Tucumã is a municipality in the state of Pará, in the Brazilian Amazon region. Like many towns in this part of Brazil, it developed relatively recently. Its urban area is laid out on a straightforward plan of streets and blocks, set against a far larger landscape of rivers, forest and cleared land.
From above, the town reads as a compact, regular pattern with a few main roads leading out into the surrounding territory. Watercourses wind through the land nearby, and the scale of the region is felt in the long, empty spaces between settlements. The contrast between the urban grid and the open land is immediate.
A Tucumã map poster shows a place defined by that contrast. The town's orderly streets sit within a wide landscape, and the print keeps both in view, giving a sense of a small community in a vast region.
