Tucumã Map Poster & Print
Tucumã lies in the southeast of Pará, Brazil, in a region opened to settlement relatively recently. The town was established as a planned colonization project in the 1980s, and that origin shows plainly in its map. Straight avenues and a regular grid of blocks were laid out on cleared land, rather than growing slowly from an older core.
The surrounding region is a mix of farmland, pasture and remaining forest. Long rural roads extend from the town into properties and smaller settlements. The Amazon frontier context, with its large distances and ongoing change in land use, is a big part of Tucumã's character.
A Tucumã map poster emphasises the clarity of its plan. The grid is wide and even, the avenues are straight and the edges meet open land sharply. In monochrome, it looks almost like an architectural drawing, a town designed on paper and then built, in a landscape still being shaped.

Main avenues
Wider avenues cross the grid and organise the town's layout. On the map they stand out as stronger lines that give the composition clear axes.
Frontier surroundings
Beyond the built area, rural roads extend into farmland and forest. The sharp transition from grid to open land gives the print a strong outer edge.
