Greifensee shore
The lake lies along the western side of the town. Its long, smooth outline gives the map a clear edge and a large, calm area of water.

Uster Map Poster & Print
Uster lies in the canton of Zurich, on the eastern shore of the Greifensee, a lake that gives the map a smooth, elongated shape of water on its western side. The town spreads inland from the lake toward the hills of the Zurich Oberland, with its centre grouped around the station and the main streets.
The Aabach stream flows through Uster toward the lake, and in the nineteenth century its water powered many textile mills, some of which still stand. The town is known in Swiss history for the Ustertag of 1830, a gathering that helped push for democratic reform in the canton. Uster Castle stands on a rise above the centre.
A Uster map poster combines the calm outline of the lake, the thin line of the stream and the town's mix of old village cores and newer residential streets. The railway runs through the middle, and the wooded hills frame the east, giving the print a quiet, well-proportioned composition.

Aabach mills
The Aabach stream winds through Uster, past former textile mills that once used its water for power. On the map it forms a slender line through the town.
Castle on the rise
Uster Castle stands on a small hill above the centre. Streets curve around this rise, marking one of the oldest points of the settlement.
