Crossroads settlement
Uyovu gathers where local roads meet, and the map shows the settlement forming around these routes rather than spreading in a planned grid.

Uyovu Map Poster & Print
Uyovu is a settlement in Geita Region, in northwestern Tanzania, in the broad interior lands south and west of Lake Victoria. On a map it appears as a modest cluster of streets where local roads come together, surrounded by a wide landscape of fields, bush and scattered homesteads rather than dense urban blocks.
The pattern is simple and practical. Main routes pass through or near the settlement, linking it with neighbouring villages and larger towns in the region, while smaller tracks branch away toward farms. Much of the map is open space, and that emptiness is part of its character, showing how a community takes shape along the lines of travel.
A Uyovu map poster works best as a quiet, minimal piece. The few roads become strong lines across the paper, with finer paths adding texture near the centre. It suits someone with a personal connection to Geita Region who wants a subtle, specific reminder of the place rather than a generic image of Tanzania.

Open landscape
Much of the surrounding area is open country and farmland, so the poster carries generous blank space that gives the small street network room to breathe.
Rural tracks
Finer paths radiate from the centre toward farms and homesteads, adding a delicate web of lines that contrasts with the heavier main roads.
