Velletri Map Poster & Print
Velletri sits on a spur at the southern edge of the Alban Hills, south-east of Rome. The historic centre follows the ridge in a compact, elongated shape, with streets running along the crest and steep lanes dropping away on both sides. Below and around it the map opens onto slopes of vineyards and olive groves that fall toward the flat Pontine plain.
Velletri is one of the Castelli Romani towns and is known for its wine. In antiquity it was linked to the family of the emperor Augustus, whose paternal ancestors came from here. The medieval Torre del Trivio still rises above the old centre.
A Velletri map poster shows a town shaped by its hill. The dense centre along the ridge, the roads winding down the slopes and the open agricultural land around it create a clear, layered composition. It is a fitting image for anyone who knows the Castelli Romani or has family roots here.

Winding descents
Roads curve down the slopes in switchbacks and bends, adding flowing lines that lead from the centre into the countryside.
Vineyard slopes
Farmland and vineyards surround the town, leaving open space that frames the compact historic core on the map.

Velletri holds a place in the memory of many Romans who spent weekends in the Castelli, and of families who have lived on its slopes for generations. A map of the hill town keeps that connection visible.
