Ridge-top roads
Main routes tend to follow the higher ground between valleys. Smaller lanes branch off them, so the network looks more like a leaf's veins than a planned grid.

Vengara Map Poster & Print
Vengara is a town in Malappuram district, in the northern part of Kerala. It sits inland from the Arabian Sea coast. The land here rises and falls in low laterite hills, and green valley floors lie between them. Roads follow the high ground, and houses spread along them in long, loose lines rather than tight blocks.
This pattern is typical of the region. There is no sharp line where town ends and village begins. A small commercial core sits where the main roads meet, and from there homes, coconut groves and fields run outward in every direction. Seen from above, the settled land is a dense, branching network with no single edge.
A Vengara map poster turns that spread into a fine, even lacework. Main roads form the thicker strokes and small lanes fill the spaces between them. Paddy lowlands and wetland pockets appear as open shapes among the lines. The result feels organic and soft, which is closer to how this part of Kerala actually lives than a hard grid would be.

Paddy hollows
Low, wet valley floors stay largely free of buildings. They show up as calm open spaces that break up the dense texture of lanes and houses.
Town junction
The commercial centre gathers where the main roads converge. It is the one place where the map's lines draw noticeably closer together.

For families from Vengara working elsewhere in India or in the Gulf, the lanes around the family home are an easy thing to miss. A poster of them brings a very specific piece of Malappuram onto the wall, and it needs no explanation to anyone who grew up there.
You can add a family name, a house name or a date in the title and subtitle, and edit the coordinates line to match the home you mean. Choose from five styles: Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint and Sand.
