Old town lanes
Near the centre, streets become narrow and irregular. This is the densest part of the map and the historic heart of the town.

Wāshīm Map Poster & Print
Wāshīm is the headquarters of Washim district in the Vidarbha region of Maharashtra. Historians identify it with ancient Vatsagulma, the seat of a branch of the Vakataka dynasty more than fifteen centuries ago. That history is not visible as monuments on the map, but it helps explain why the old town has a clear centre, with the rest of the town growing outward from it.
From above, the town forms an irregular cluster. Lanes in the older quarter bend and meet at odd angles, while newer neighbourhoods follow straighter roads towards the edges. Highways leave in several directions across the flat, farmed plateau. Temple tanks and small water bodies appear as quiet shapes within the built area.
A Wāshīm map poster suits people who value places for their continuity more than their size. The layout is modest, but the town has been lived in for a very long time. In a minimal print, the tight older core and the open land around it make a balanced composition.

Roads across the plateau
Main roads run out towards other Vidarbha towns and give the map a star-like structure over the level farmland.
Tanks and water bodies
Small reservoirs and temple tanks inside the town appear as clean, still shapes against the fine street network.

This map tends to go to people who grew up in Wāshīm or whose families come from the district. The design is simple and restrained, so it fits a home office, a hallway or a gift for parents.
Personalise the title and subtitle, perhaps with a family name or an important year, and adjust the coordinates line. Choose Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. Paper and Sand suit the plateau setting well.
