Weifang Map Poster & Print
Weifang lies on the flat plain of central Shandong, and its urban core is shaped by the Bailang River, which runs north through the city. Parks and embankments follow its course, so the river shows on the map as a green-edged corridor dividing the city into eastern and western halves. Wide, straight avenues cross it at regular intervals.
The city is known across China, and well beyond it, as a centre of kite making. The Weifang International Kite Festival has been held each spring since the 1980s, and the city also has a museum devoted to kites. A Weifang map poster offers a steadier kind of image: the plain, the river and a street pattern that spreads calmly in every direction.
Beyond the central districts, the wider municipality extends north to the shore of Laizhou Bay and south into hill country, taking in towns and large areas of farmland. For the poster, the focus stays on the city itself, where a regular grid, the river corridor and the surrounding expressways make a balanced, readable composition at any of the six print sizes.

Planned grid
Much of Weifang is laid out as a broad grid of straight avenues and large blocks, which gives the map an orderly, almost woven structure across the plain.
Level ground
The city sits on almost flat land, so streets run long and straight without bending around hills. Only rivers and rail lines interrupt the pattern, giving the poster an even rhythm.

དོན་དག་ཡོད་པའི་ས་ཁྲ།
Weifang is home to many people who left for larger cities and still think of it as their starting point. A poster of its river and streets is a simple way to keep that place on the wall, or to give it to a parent who never moved away.
Add a title, perhaps your old district or the year of a kite festival you attended, and a personal subtitle. Choose Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. The $9 download includes six sizes as 300 DPI PNGs and print-ready PDFs.
