Old town core
A small, dense cluster of streets and squares marks the historic centre. It gives the map a clear focal point in the middle of the basin.

Wittlich Map Poster & Print
Wittlich lies at the southern edge of the Eifel, in a broad basin where the Lieser river flows towards the Mosel. The old town is small and tightly packed. Its streets lead to a central market square and are surrounded by a ring of later development. Newer residential streets and commercial areas spread out across the basin, with wooded hills rising around it.
The town is known for the Säubrennerkirmes, a large annual fair whose name refers to a local legend about roasting pigs. The Baroque town hall and the parish church of St. Markus give the historic centre its character. Wittlich is also a regional hub, well connected by motorway and road.
A Wittlich map poster shows a clear hierarchy of streets. The dense old centre sits in the middle, later rings of development surround it, and the river and roads cut across the valley. It is an orderly composition with enough detail to reward a closer look.

The Lieser
The river crosses the valley near the centre and flows towards the Mosel. On the map it adds a natural curve to the pattern of streets.
Basin and hills
The town fills a wide depression, with wooded slopes rising around it. The contrast between settled floor and green edge frames the print.
