Fine street mesh
Narrow lanes run between small plots and houses, creating a close-grained pattern that fills much of the frame with delicate detail.

Xizhou Map Poster & Print
Xizhou lies on the plain north of central Taichung, in a part of Taiwan where towns, factories and farmland are tightly interwoven. From above, the area shows a fine mesh of streets with small parcels of fields between them, crossed by larger roads that connect it to the city and to neighbouring districts.
Central Taiwan's plains are among the most densely used landscapes in the country. Irrigation channels, narrow lanes and rail and road corridors run close together, and the map records all of them. Settlements are rarely separated by open space for long, which gives the area a continuous, textured appearance rather than clearly bounded towns.
A Xizhou map poster turns this density into an elegant pattern. The regular field divisions, the busier main roads and the knots of housing combine into a composition that feels intricate without being chaotic. It is a detailed, quietly beautiful subject that rewards close viewing at larger sizes.

Farmland parcels
Small fields remain between built areas, adding lighter rectangles to the map and breaking up the density of the streets around them.
Connecting roads
Larger roads cut through the mesh toward Taichung and neighbouring towns, providing the strong lines that give the poster its structure.
