Zākīyah Map Poster & Print
Zākīyah lies in the Rif Dimashq governorate, on the broad plain that stretches south-west of Damascus towards the Hauran and the foothills of Mount Hermon. The land here is fairly level and mostly farmed, and on the map the town appears as a compact built-up area surrounded by fields.
The street pattern is typical of rural towns in southern Syria: an older centre with irregular lanes, and newer blocks laid out more regularly towards the edges. Roads lead out to neighbouring villages and towards the capital. A Zākīyah map poster shows this simple arrangement with clarity.
In black and white, the fine texture of houses and lanes contrasts with the open field pattern beyond. It is a restrained image of a place defined by its plain, its farmland and its links to the communities around it.

Towards the edges, streets become straighter and more regular, showing how the town has grown outward from its original centre.
Surrounding plain
Fields and rural roads spread across the flat land around the town, giving the poster a calm background of long lines and open space.

Many families from southern Syria now live far from home, and a clean map of a home town can carry a lot of meaning. This poster is a quiet, dignified way to keep a place close.
You can write the title in your own way, add a subtitle with a name or date, and edit the coordinates line. Choose Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand, as a $9 download or a printed poster.
