Zolochiv Map Poster & Print
Zolochiv lies east of Lviv in western Ukraine, in a landscape of low hills, small rivers and farmland. The map shows a compact historic centre with streets that meet at angles instead of forming a grid. Around it are later neighbourhoods and roads leaving toward Lviv, Ternopil and nearby villages. Ponds and streams add small, irregular shapes on the edges of town.
The town is best known for Zolochiv Castle, built in the 1630s by Jakub Sobieski, father of King Jan III Sobieski. It is one of the castles on the Golden Horseshoe route around Lviv. Its fortifications form a square with corner bastions, a shape that shows clearly even on a street map.
A Zolochiv map poster sets the castle's geometric outline next to the loose streets of the old town. It suits anyone with family ties to the area, or who has travelled the castle route through Galicia.

Old town streets
Near the historic centre, streets meet at irregular angles and form a small, dense core, typical of old market towns in the region.
Roads through the hills
Main roads leave town toward Lviv and Ternopil. They cross gently rolling country and give the composition long lines toward the edges.
