Cuautepec Map Poster & Print
Cuautepec de Hinojosa lies in the highlands of eastern Hidalgo, close to the city of Tulancingo. The town sits at altitude, with hills and higher ground around it, and its map reflects that setting. The centre follows the familiar Mexican pattern of a main square and church surrounded by a grid of blocks, while outer streets bend more freely to follow the lie of the land.
Roads link Cuautepec with Tulancingo and with rural communities across the municipality. Around the town the land is divided into farm plots and pasture, crossed by small watercourses and country tracks. The contrast between the orderly central blocks and the looser pattern at the edges gives the map a clear sense of how the town grew outward from its plaza.
A Cuautepec map poster shows this highland town at a readable scale: the square at its heart, the grid radiating from it and the roads heading into the hills. In a single colour the result is quiet and well balanced, a meaningful keepsake for families from the town and for the many who have moved to larger cities.

Road to Tulancingo
The link to the nearby regional city is the town's principal route and draws a strong line across the composition towards the valley.
Highland edges
Towards the edges, streets give way to farm plots, pasture and winding tracks that follow the uneven terrain of the Hidalgo highlands.
