East Setauket Map Poster & Print
East Setauket is a hamlet in the town of Brookhaven on the North Shore of Long Island. From above it looks nothing like a grid. Roads curve through wooded land, residential streets loop and end in cul-de-sacs, and many properties sit among trees. To the north the land meets Setauket Harbor and Port Jefferson Harbor, and their shorelines give the map an irregular edge.
The Setauket area has a documented place in American history. During the Revolutionary War it was home to members of the Culper Spy Ring, which sent intelligence to George Washington. Today the hamlet borders Stony Brook University, and the large campus to the west adds a denser cluster of buildings and roads to the map.
An East Setauket map poster shows the calm geography of the North Shore: tree-lined roads, small harbours and a street pattern that follows old paths more than modern planning. It is a map for people who grew up here, studied nearby, or simply love this corner of Long Island, where history and everyday suburban life sit side by side.

Winding lanes
Roads curve through wooded areas and follow older routes and the terrain. The result is a relaxed, organic street pattern with few straight lines.
University neighbour
Stony Brook University lies just to the west. Its campus adds a denser network of buildings, roads and parking areas at the edge of the hamlet.
