Small lakes appear across the whole city, from neighbourhood ponds to larger reservoirs, giving the map a scatter of solid shapes among the curving residential streets.

Lakewood Map Poster & Print
Lakewood fills much of the ground between Denver and the Rocky Mountain foothills. It is one of the largest cities in Colorado by population, yet it is laid out mostly as low suburban neighbourhoods. On a map its section-line roads form a loose grid, broken by curving subdivision streets, reservoirs and greenways, until the western edge meets the hogback ridge and the steeper land beyond.
The city lives up to its name, with many small lakes and ponds scattered through its neighbourhoods and the larger open space of Bear Creek Lake Park in the south-west. Green Mountain sits inside the city as a broad plateau with no roads across it. The Denver Federal Center occupies a large block of land, and the W Line light rail runs west toward Golden.
A Lakewood map poster shows that a suburb can still have a distinct shape. It holds the long line of West Colfax, the redeveloped Belmar district near the centre, the open patches of park and water, and the edge of the foothills closing the view. It is an understated piece for anyone who calls this side of Denver home.

Green Mountain
A wide, flat-topped rise on the west side, left largely open as park land. Here the street pattern stops and trails take over, leaving a calm blank area in the composition.
West Colfax Avenue
The historic east–west highway runs straight through the northern part of the city toward Golden. It is a long commercial corridor that anchors the surrounding grid.

Miksi Lakewood
Kartta, jolla on merkitystä
Lakewood is where many people settle within reach of both downtown Denver and the mountains. A map of it can mark a first house, a morning run around a lake or years spent raising a family on the west side, and it is recognisable without needing a skyline.
You can set your own title, subtitle and coordinates, such as a street name or the year you moved in, and pick one of five styles, from crisp Classic black & white to the warmer Sand. Get the HD files for $9 or order a matte print, with a wooden frame if you like.
