Dense market core
At the centre, closely packed lanes and small blocks form the commercial heart of the town. This fine texture becomes the darkest, most detailed area of the print.

Sītāmarhi Map Poster & Print
Sītāmarhi is in the Mithila region of northern Bihar, on the level alluvial plain that runs from the Ganges up to the Himalayan foothills. From above, the town is a dense cluster of lanes and markets set among fields, ponds and orchards. Roads lead out in several directions toward neighbouring towns and toward the Nepal border to the north.
Hindu tradition holds that Sita, the heroine of the Ramayana, was born here, and pilgrims come to Punaura Dham and other sites linked to her story. The Lakhandei river flows past the town. Streams across the wider district swell during the monsoon, and that seasonal pattern has shaped where people build.
A Sītāmarhi map poster turns that setting into a clean graphic. The tight grain of the old bazaar streets stands against the looser pattern of the outskirts, and the ponds scattered across the plain appear as small, calm shapes among the lines. The result feels grounded and specific, a record of a place shaped by both faith and landscape.

Ponds and water bodies
Across the plain, tanks and ponds appear as scattered shapes between streets and fields. They are common in Mithila towns and soften the geometry of the map.
Roads to the border
Main routes head out across the flat land toward other Bihar towns and north toward Nepal. Their long, straight lines frame the town within the open plain.
