Plaza and grid
The historic centre is organised around a main square, with streets running from it in a regular grid. This gives the middle of the poster a clear, ordered structure.

Teocaltiche Map Poster & Print
Teocaltiche is a town in the Altos region of northern Jalisco, close to the borders with Zacatecas and Aguascalientes. It sits on a highland plateau cut by river valleys. The town follows the traditional Mexican pattern: a central plaza surrounded by a grid of streets that loosens as it spreads outward into newer neighbourhoods.
The name comes from Nahuatl, and the area has deep pre-Hispanic roots. Archaeologists use the term Teocaltiche style for a group of ceramic figures from the region's ancient shaft tombs, now held in museum collections. Many families from Teocaltiche have also emigrated to the United States, giving the town strong ties to communities north of the border.
A Teocaltiche map poster shows a clear colonial core within a rugged landscape. The regular grid sits beside a river, and winding roads climb out of the valley toward neighbouring towns. In black and white, the square blocks of the centre and the looser edges make a composed, balanced image.

River edge
A river passes beside the town. Its curving course contrasts naturally with the straight streets and marks one side of the built-up area.
Highland roads
Roads wind across the plateau toward nearby towns and villages. Their bends follow the terrain and soften the edges of the composition.
