River Biss
The Biss runs through the town centre, a thin winding line that explains where the old mills and the first streets were built.

Trowbridge Map Poster & Print
Trowbridge is the county town of Wiltshire, in the west of the county near the border with Somerset. The River Biss winds through the centre, and the old core sits close to its banks. It has narrow streets, the parish church and the former mills that once made the town one of the most important cloth centres in the West of England.
Around that core, the town has expanded in every direction. Twentieth-century estates and newer developments form loops and cul-de-sacs on the edges. On a map the contrast is easy to read: an irregular, tightly packed centre shaped by the river, surrounded by the looser curves of later housing.
One small landmark is the Town Bridge over the Biss, which carries an eighteenth-century blind house, a lock-up once used to hold offenders overnight. A Trowbridge map poster captures the river threading through the old town and the rings of growth around it. It is a clear portrait of a working county town.

Miksi Trowbridge
Kartta, jolla on merkitystä
Trowbridge is a practical, lived-in town, and a map of it tends to mean something personal: the street you grew up on, the school run, the walk along the Biss. Framed, it becomes a simple record of that everyday geography.
You can set a title and subtitle, perhaps your family name or a wedding date, and adjust the coordinates. Then pick one of five styles: Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. Download the files for $9, or order a matte print with or without a frame.
