Regular town grid
Straight streets cross at right angles in the typical Mexican colonial plan. In black and white they form a neat block pattern that gets denser toward the centre of town.

Vicente Guerrero Map Poster & Print
Vicente Guerrero sits in southern Durango, on the high country that rises toward the Sierra Madre Occidental. From above, the town is a tight, orderly grid of short blocks around a central core. Past its edges the streets quickly give way to the long rectangles of cultivated fields, which carry the rectilinear pattern out into the open valley.
The town and its municipality are named after Vicente Guerrero, a leader of the Mexican War of Independence who later became president of Mexico. The name is common across the country, but this Durango town is one of the larger places to carry it. It serves as a local centre for the surrounding agricultural district, and the roads leading out of town show that role clearly.
Printed in monochrome, the street grid becomes a fine lattice of lines with a denser centre, framed by the irregular geometry of the farmland around it. A Vicente Guerrero map poster works best at a scale that shows the town and its edge together, so both the regular blocks and the open land beyond them appear on the sheet.

Fields at the edge
Outside the built-up area, the land breaks into long agricultural parcels. Their boundaries and access tracks make a looser, more varied pattern around the compact urban core.
Roads to the region
Highways and rural roads leave the town in several directions and link it to the rest of southern Durango. On the map they read as a few strong strokes.

Miksi Vicente Guerrero
Kartta, jolla on merkitystä
For people from southern Durango, this map shows the actual street pattern of home rather than a generic picture of Mexico. It is a quiet, precise object that suits a family hallway or a desk far from the high plains.
The title, subtitle and coordinates line can be personalised, for example with a family name or a year. You can then choose Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand to match the room.
