Irrigated valley floor
Fields and orchards surround the town in a tight mosaic, and the channels that water them trace thin, often parallel lines that give the whole map a finely ruled texture.

Yangiqo‘rg‘on Map Poster & Print
Yangiqo‘rg‘on lies in Namangan region, in the northern part of the Fergana Valley, the broad, intensively farmed basin enclosed by mountain ranges in eastern Uzbekistan. It is the centre of a district of the same name, and from above its streets sit within a patchwork of fields, orchards and irrigation channels that cover most of the valley floor in this area.
The town's layout reflects that setting. Straight roads and long residential blocks run between cultivated plots, and the pattern of water channels that feed the farmland often shows up as fine lines alongside the streets. To the north the land begins to rise toward the foothills, so the flat, ordered geometry of the valley gives way to more irregular terrain at the edge of the map.
A Yangiqo‘rg‘on map poster captures this meeting of cultivated plain and upland. The street grid is legible and calm, framed by the regular divisions of irrigated land. It is a portrait of a working valley town, where most of the lines on the page exist because of water carefully brought to the fields.

Long residential streets
Housing is laid out along long, fairly straight streets typical of Fergana Valley towns, with courtyard homes behind the frontage, forming regular bands across the print.
Toward the foothills
North of the town the ground climbs toward the mountains that ring the valley, and the map becomes looser and sparser as settlement thins out on the slopes.
