Irrigation lines
Canals and ditches run in long, straight lines through the fields around Zafar. They repeat across the map and give the poster a strong graphic rhythm.

Zafar Map Poster & Print
Zafar is a small town in the Tashkent Region of Uzbekistan, in the flat, irrigated country south of the capital. From above, the most striking feature is the order of the surrounding land. Long field strips, tree-lined roads and irrigation channels run in mostly straight lines, and the town sits within that grid.
The town itself is compact. Residential streets, courtyard houses with gardens, and a few wider roads carry traffic through the centre. The edges blend into orchards and cotton or grain fields. Canals and ditches repeat parallel lines across the landscape and give the whole area a measured, almost drafted look.
A Zafar map poster works because of this geometry. The design contrasts the finer grain of the town with the long, calm lines of the irrigation network around it. In black and white, the pattern reads clearly and restfully. It suits anyone who knows the place, or anyone who likes maps where people have shaped the land.

Garden neighbourhoods
Residential streets form small blocks of houses with courtyards and gardens. On the map they add a finer, softer texture next to the geometry of the fields.
Valley farmland
Beyond the town, farmland stretches out in regular plots divided by roads and tree lines. The result is a calm, grid-like setting around the settlement.

Miksi Zafar
Kartta, jolla on merkitystä
A map of Zafar speaks to people who grew up among its gardens and canals, and to those who moved away to Tashkent or abroad. It shows the place as a pattern, not as a postcard, which often feels closer to how home is remembered.
You can personalise the title and subtitle, or add coordinates for a family home. Five styles are available: Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint and Sand. The $9 digital files come as 300 DPI PNGs and print-ready PDFs, and printed posters ship from partners in more than 30 countries.
