Bala Quila
The hill fort runs along the ridge above the city. Its long walls and ramparts follow the contours and give the map a dramatic upper edge.

Ang mapa
Alwar Map Poster & Print
Alwar sits at the foot of the Aravalli range in north-eastern Rajasthan, and the hills shape the entire map. The old city is packed tightly into the space below a steep ridge, where narrow lanes wind between bazaars and courtyards. Above it, the walls of the Bala Quila fort follow the crest of the hill in a long line high over the town.
Below the ridge, the City Palace complex and the cenotaph of Moosi Maharani stand beside a small tank, one of the most recognised views in the city. Newer districts spread across the flatter land beyond the old centre. Their wider roads and more regular blocks make the change from old town to modern city easy to see.
In the hills beyond the city lies Siliserh Lake, a reservoir with a former royal palace on its shore, and further south is the Sariska Tiger Reserve. An Alwar map poster captures the meeting of hill and town: the fort on the ridge, the dense old quarters and the open plain beyond.

Old city lanes
Below the hill, the historic centre forms a dense maze of narrow lanes and bazaars. This fine, intricate texture reads beautifully in black and white.
Aravalli ridges
Rocky hills rise around the city and leave open, unbuilt shapes on the map. Roads thread between them toward lakes and villages.

Bakit Alwar
Isang mapang may kahulugan
Alwar is a city of fort walls, palace courtyards and hill views. A map of it suits anyone with family ties to Rajasthan or memories of visits to Sariska and Siliserh, and the strong terrain gives the print a clear, recognisable form.
Set your own title and subtitle, such as a family name or a wedding date, and keep or change the coordinates line. Choose from Classic black and white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint and Sand. Sand in particular echoes the dry colours of the Aravalli.
