Khlong network
Narrow canals thread across the district in long, parallel lines. They are the oldest routes here and still shape property boundaries and roads.

Ang mapa
Bang Kruai Map Poster & Print
Bang Kruai is a district of Nonthaburi province on the west bank of the Chao Phraya, just outside Bangkok. For a long time this side of the river was orchard country, crossed by khlongs, the narrow canals used for transport and irrigation. Many of those waterways still exist, and on the map they draw long, fine lines through the district.
Since the late twentieth century, roads, bridges and housing estates have spread over the old orchards. The result is a layered map. Straight roads and the regular blocks of new developments run over, and sometimes beside, the older water network. Temples and small communities along the canals keep the older pattern visible.
A Bang Kruai map poster is a good choice for anyone who likes places where two systems meet. The canals come from the waterborne life of the Chao Phraya delta, and the roads come from the modern city. In black and white both carry equal weight.

Chao Phraya bank
The district sits on the river's west bank. The broad water marks its eastern side and separates it from the denser city opposite.
Orchards into estates
Housing developments with neat internal streets now fill land that was once orchard, set between the canals in blocks of different sizes.

Bakit Bang Kruai
Isang mapang may kahulugan
Residents like this map because it shows what makes Bang Kruai distinctive: water and roads layered on top of each other. It sits comfortably in a modern Thai home or a condo on the other side of the river.
Personalise the title and subtitle and edit the coordinates line to mark your street. Pick Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. Blueprint makes the canal lines especially clear.
